NORTH BROUGHTON – 6 DAY WILDERNESS ADVENTURE

The Broughton Explorer is a six-day adventure that explores the  Broughton Marine Park to Johnstone Strait. This adventure is a classic sea kayaking journey through the sheltered and exposed waters of the many passages and channels in the South and North Broughton.

Highlights include three days of camping/sea kayaking through a maze of islands and islets that features spontaneous wildlife encounters. And three days kayaking large open passages featuring experiences with whales, sea lions, eagles on route to established camping sites. We offer a support boat on these trips to ensure that you are paddling light kayaks from camp to camp. This is a trip of memories, colourful sunsets and nomadic travel.

Highlights include full days of paddling, a large variety of wildlife, both marine and land based a visit with the legendary, "Billy Proctor", at his popular museum near Echo Bay, paddling sheltered and moving water, the use of three campsites that are situated wher you can sleep with sound of whales in the distance. Trip covers 80 kilometers of some of most spectacular sea kayaking on North America.
