Our 3 day Kayak tour is the perfect solution for those that are pressed for time and would still like to experience the thrill of Kayaking with Killer Whales in Johnstone Strait. This is a fully guided kayak tour that starts from Telegraph Cove. You will be provided with water transport to our Johnstone Strait Base Camp. After selecting your camp site - you will be given an introduction to your kayak use and operation. It is typical that all our tours are designed to get you out on the water as soon as possible so you can enjoy kayaking in Johnstone Strait.

Expect that after your introduction to your kayak and a review of safety information your Guides will have you out kayaking on day one.

 

For the next 3 Days your tour may include the following:

• Daily Kayaking of Johnstone Strait
• Hikes to the observation area's of Johnstone Strait and other points of interest
• Visits to the whale researchers
• kayaking to the whale reserve weather permitting
• Beach lunches on various beaches located around our base camp location

Clients may also delay returning to Telegraph Cove for those wishing to join us in Johnstone Strait for Salmon fishing. Salmon fishing charters will be offered July thru to Sept at a modest cost. Enjoy fishing aboard a new 16ft Lund awith all gear supplied. Our fishing boat is perfect for one to two people. You can expect to catch Pink, Sockeye, Coho, Spring or you can have your fishing guide explore some secret spots for Red Snapper and Ling Cod. You will need to ensure that you have a Salt Water Fishing License.
